monument. This museum is free and really interesting (a lot more fun than the Annecy Castle museum for example). You can learn and see a lot about local life before.EndFragment

The streets and alleways have stayed the same as the time of the Green Count, Amédée VI, count of Savoy. On the Roman road from Milan to Vienna via the Petit Saint Bernard pass, Conflans witnessed the passage of merchants, peddlers, and pilgrims.

Today, Conflans welcomes you all year round in its maze of narrow streets, on its shady terraces full of flowers, and in its colourful boutiques.

Enjoy a coffee in the main square by the fountain or relax in the beautiful shaded garden!

You can easily park your car at the bottom of the village, only a few minutes walk to the center of the village which is for pedestrians only.
