The Mountain pass of Col des Aravis marks the border between Savoie (73) and Haute-Savoie (74). It links the village of La Clusaz and La Giettaz. From there you can enjoy a breathtaking view on the Aravis mountains and Mont Blanc. It is famous for cyclists as Tour de France uses it quite a lot. But also a lovely place for hiking or pik nik.
Be aware, that during the winter, the Col might be closed because of the snow.
