Alby-sur-Chéran is a small village between Annecy and Aix-les-Bains (about 10 min drive from Annecy). The restaurant l'Arcadie is in the middle of the medieval village and the atmosphere is lovely! You can park at the Church parking and walk there.
The Chef is doing tradional French cuisine with fresh products, the speciality is frog legs (you have to book in advance, you can eat as much as you want, it is served with wonderful fried parsil potatoes and green salad). But you can also have other local dishes like the Bauges burger or the gambas, prices from 10 to 30€.
In the summer, you can also enjoy the terrasse!
It is also a good way to discover this lovely village.

I am not sure if they speak English but next to it, you can also find an english tea room where you can have crêpes or scones and also buy english products, groceries and bread.
The tea room is called "les Petits Galets" http://petitsgalets.canalblog.com/
